How it works

An outing, start to finish

Nothing is asked of you until an outing feels right. Then someone takes care of the rest. Example: a Saturday comedy night

  1. Thursday, 6pm

    The outings drop

    This weekend's outings: what's on, the area, the age range, and your host's name and photo.

  2. Your choice

    Book your seat

    Pick an outing that fits. You'll see everything that's included before you book.

  3. Saturday, 7:30am

    The reveal

    The curtain opens: your venue and your group's first names. A group chat opens, with your host in it.

  4. 7:10pm

    Your host meets you at the door

    No walking in alone, no searching for faces. You're seated together.

  5. 7:30pm

    The show itself

    The show, the quiz or the game does the talking. You just enjoy it.

  6. After

    Chai, or home

    Stay for a cup next door or head home. Both are completely normal.

A named hostYou see their name and photo before you book. They meet you at the door and sit with your group.
ID-checked, onceEveryone is who they say they are, and 18+. We keep only a "verified" mark, never your documents.
Your age, balancedEvery outing is for one age group, from 18⁠–⁠24 to 45+. Groups of 4⁠–⁠6, with no more than 3 of any gender.
Nights with a woman hostFor women and non-binary members who'd feel more at ease.
No numbers sharedNobody sees your phone number. The group chat closes 24 hours after the outing.
The Group PromiseEvery card tells you the age range, language and gender balance of the group. If your group doesn't match it, you get a full refund. And "I don't feel comfortable" is always one tap away, straight to your host and our team.

Will I be the oldest or the youngest?

No. Every outing is for one age range, shown on the card before you book (18⁠–⁠24, 25⁠–⁠34, 35⁠–⁠44 or 45+). Everyone in your group is in that range.

Do I have to make conversation?

Hardly. The show or the game does the talking. Your host breaks the ice, and the chai afterwards is optional: stay or head home, both are normal.

Is this a dating thing?

No. It's an outing with a small group your age, and a host keeping it friendly.

What kinds of outings?

We're starting with stand-up comedy. Quiz nights, board games and workshops come next. Tell us which you'd come to when you join the waitlist, and we'll start with the most popular.

Saturdays don't work for me.

There will be Sunday and daytime outings too. Every Thursday's drop shows what's on that weekend.

Why the DigiLocker check?

So everyone in your group is who they say they are, and over 18. It takes about a minute, once. We keep only a "verified" mark, never your documents.

What if my group doesn't match the card?

That's covered by the Group Promise: if the age range, language or gender balance isn't what the card said, you get a full refund.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes. Bring one friend along on their first night, and you'll be in the same group.

Why I started Tag Along

"So many good things to do in Hyderabad, and so often nobody free to go with."

Tag Along is my fix for that: a small group your age, someone who's there before you are, and a seat saved for you. I'll be hosting the first outings myself, so if you join, there's a good chance it's me who meets you at the door.
